Following Jesus is the most important thing you will ever do. The Good News:

God has provided the way!

Because of His love for you, God made the way for you to have a forever relationship with Him.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16 NIV)

Without Christ, we are lost.

The standard is not who is “good enough” or “successful enough.” The standard is the perfection of God. We all fall woefully short.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23 NIV)

The result of this is spiritual death.

Because we all fall short of the perfection of God, we cannot be in his presence. We are separated from him because of the choices we have all made.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23 NIV)

God knows our situation and has made the way.

God understands our predicament, so he did what only he could do: He came to earth to pay the price we could not pay. Jesus came into our world and lived the perfect life we could not live. His death on the cross was a sacrifice to pay, in full, for our sin.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8 NIV)

Every individual must personally trust Christ.

No one else can make this decision for you. We are not saved because of the nation of our birth, the strength of our family, or the power we achieve. We have to individually admit our need for what only Jesus can do, accept what only Jesus has done, and follow only Jesus as Lord.

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Romans 10:9-10 NIV)

God offers this extraordinary invitation to all.

No matter who you are, no matter what your background, no matter what secrets you have in your past – God loves you. He issues this amazing invitation:

20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20 NIV)

The Bible sums it up like this:

Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved. (Acts 16:31)

You can follow Christ right now!

Simply pray:

Lord Jesus, I know that I have sinned. Thank you that you paid the price for me when you died on the cross. Please forgive my sins and come into my life as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for saving me, and for giving me eternal life. Amen!
