The number of unique days during the COVID-19 response continues as we prepare to experience Mother’s Day Sunday without being able to physically meet together for worship. Many families are facing the reality that they will not even be able to meet for lunch. As all of us figure out how to send a new hug emoji, we join each other in facing a bit of lock-down fatigue, and a holiday like Mother’s Day only reemphasizes that emotion. If nothing else, this crisis has focused us on the things that are important.
This week, we will dig into a passage where Moses reminded the nation of Israel of what was important. Join us this week as we celebrate our Moms and remember what they taught us: the most important thing in your life is your relationship with God (Deuteronomy 10:14-15).
See you Sunday!
