Netflix recently announced that it will release a remake of the 1960’s science fiction series “Lost in Space.” I vaguely remember watching the program, and like most people, remember the classic phrase, “Danger Will Robinson!” The line (spoken by the robot B9 to the Robinson family son Will) only occurs in one episode, though the robot frequently yelled “Danger, Danger” without Will’s name. Still, the phrase became iconic through the years – as well as waving your arms (or vacuum cleaner hoses if you want real authenticity).
Warnings of danger, with our without a robot, are important. Deuteronomy 9:6 provides a significant warning not only for the nation of Israel, but for us as well. Join us this week as we explore the danger of pride.
See you Sunday!
